The theory of a toolbox talk is simple: hazards drift out of attention, and a short weekly briefing on one specific topic keeps them current. The practice fails on prep time — nobody writes a good talk at 6:45 a.m. This library removes that excuse: pick a topic, the sheet is ready, the sign-off grid prints with it.
The planner multiplies the program out: talks per year = crews × talks per crew per week × 52. Meeting hours = talks × minutes ÷ 60. Attendee-hours = meeting hours × crew size. Weeks to cover the library = 50 topics ÷ talks per week. At the defaults — 4 crews, weekly, 15 minutes — that's 208 talks, 52 meeting hours, 260 attendee-hours at 5 per crew, and the full library covered in 50 weeks.

In exchange, the site cycles the entire 50-topic library every 6 weeks per crew and documents a hazard-communication rhythm that satisfies the training-instruction expectation of 1926.21(b)(2). It's called a toolbox talk because it traditionally happened around the job-box before work started. The talk covers the hazard, the controls, and the crew's own experience; attendance is recorded on a sign-off sheet.
